Deborah Ann Woll
Deborah was born on 25th December, 1985, in Brooklyn. Her parents are from Germany and Ireland. Deborah took classes in ballet, dancing and acting. She was a student at Packer Collegiate Institute for high school, and later graduated from USC School of Theatre's BFA program. Deborah started her career as a television actress. Her first big break came in the HBO vampire drama True Blood (2008) as Jessica Hamby, a young, fierce and loyal vampire. From that moment she landed roles in films such as Mother's Day (2010), Seven Days in Utopia (2011), Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You (2011) and Catch .44 (2011) and Catch.44 (2011), starring Bruce Willis and Forest Whitaker along with Ruby Sparks (2012). Woll's boyfriend, Edward E.J. Scott a comic, and his family are affected by the condition known as choroideremia. The disease slowly causes its victims to become blind. Her celebrity status allows her to advocate for them and others affected by the disease. The media has quoted her as saying that her boyfriend's bravery in battling his condition has influenced her own fight with Celiac disease. This makes her body unresponsive to food with gluten.
